He was predeceased by : his parents, Willie Perry and Carrie Perry; and his siblings, Carl, Calvin, Roy and Nancy.
He is survived by : his wife Anne Perry (Nee Oakley) of Portage; and his children, Pam Bourrell of Cedar Lake, Laura Karasoff of Valparaiso, Martha Hedger of North Judson and John A. Perry Jr. of Portage. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Perry family to assist with funeral costs.
