He is survived by : his wife Marlena Singel; his daughter Megan Frietag (Brian); his grandchildren, Dallas and Della Frietag; his siblings, Morgan Singel (Diane) and Mary Hassen (Harry); his parents-in-law, Dave and Ida Quaka; and his brother-in-law Mike Quaka (Suzi).
