It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LeRoy Allan Rappatta of Portage, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on July 31, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedict Rappatta and Ruth Seymour; and his wife Thelma. He is survived by: his children, Fayellen Forsythe (Steve) and David Rappatta (Beth); his grandchildren, Sherry Cheatham (Toby), David Forsythe (Nicole), Meagan Towner (James) and Mallory Musick (Alex); his great grandchildren, Josey, Lody, Aubrey, David and Miles; and his siblings, Ted Rappatta (late Charlene), Michael Rappatta (Joyce) and Lorie Jones (Curt). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to Augustana Lutheran Church: 207 Kelly Street, Hobart, IN 46342.
