It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Baker of Portage, Indiana, born in Plymouth, Indiana, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Carroll Baker and Clara Baker (Rensberger); her son Michael Baker; and her brother Donald Baker. She is survived by : her husband David L. Baker; her children, Christine Kern (Kelly) of Valparaiso and Mark Baker (Julie) of Sullivan, IN; her brothers, Richard Baker (Delores) and Robert Baker (Patt); her grandchildren, Cara Germann (Matt), Cami Kern, Katie Swann (Richard), Alexandra Baker and Andrew Baker; and her great grandchildren, Eleanor Faye Germann, Rachael Renee Germann, Madelyn Grace Germann and Baker Freeman Swann.
