He was predeceased by : his parents, Michael Malaski and Helen Malaski; and his siblings, Richard Malaski and Carol Alderson. He is survived by : his wife Katherine "Kitty" Malaski; his sons, Michael Malaski (Erinn) and Matthew Malaski (Mindy); his grandchildren, Seamus, Morgan, Cooper, Myron and Bronko Malaski; and his siblings, John Malaski and Susan Vahary.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Michael's name to Portage High School or Crown Point High School Athletic Department.
