With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Myra E. Dixon of Portage, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence "Stump" Williams and Kathryn Williams (Dillon); her husband James Arthur Dixon Sr.; her son James Dixon Jr.; her grandson Kevin Dixon; her son-in-law Jeff Gorby; and her siblings, Jane Ray, Tom Williams, June Burkett, Freda Slemmer, James, Emery and John Daughenbaugh.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Dixon (Glenda) of Indiana, Tammy Gorby of Indiana and Jane Beaudry (Ron Springman) of Indiana; her grandsons, Anthony (Breanna), Bryan Dixon (Kayla), Dillon (Maddie) and Derek Beaudry (Rebekah); and her great grandchildren, Maverick, Maddox, Owen, Landon, Ella and Daphne.
