He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollin Sopher and Dola Sopher (Jordan); and his siblings, Roger Sopher and Linda Napier. He is survived by: his significant other Martha Sopher; his brother Randy Sopher (Rosanna); his sons, Rollin E. Sopher, III (Debbie) and Jeff A. Sopher; and his stepchildren, Dawn Carlo, Elizabeth Walker (John), Debra Adams (Michael) and Bobby Wright. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center (8941 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM and on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
