It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon L. Carter of Portage, Indiana, born in Valparaiso, Indiana, who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Cambe and Bonnie Cambe; and her daughter Bonnie Sue Meade. She is survived by: her children, Sherri Lauderback (Elwood), Lori Cervantes (Tom), Daniele Cummins (Brian) and Allen Meade (Marsha); her niece Shana Stacey; her grandchildren, Cassie (Brian), Steven, Aleece (Tony), JJ (Amanda), Hollie (Ivan), Angelita, Antonio, Tori (Conrad), Michael, Matthew, Marshall, Angel, Abby, Mason, Mitchell, Payton (Eric), Kelly (Jorge), Angela, Joshua, Beth, Andrew, Austin, Courtney (Jim) and Becca (Thomas); her great grandchildren, Anthony (Bianca), Bryce, Delilah, Lillian, Brooklynn, Xavier, Oliver, Mercedes, Alejandra, Nathaniel, Isabel, Glorianna, Kayden, Keanu, Kingsley, Mya, Dominic, Cannon, Lulu, Jacob, Kinsley, Jayden and Aiden; and her great great grandchild Kehlani. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sharon's name to her church, South Haven Christian Church.
