She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanora Roll and Lawrence Roll; her brother Gene; and her husband Fred Roach. She is survived by: her children, Beth Franzen (Jim), Julie Fonseca (George), Lisa Knoll (Dan), Danial Roach (Julie Eisele) and Amy Roach (Ed Cosgrove); and her brother George. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Val's name may be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at Nativity of Our Savior Church.
