It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Morton Sr. (Portage, Indiana), who passed away on November 28, 2017, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sons, William Blanton Morton Jr. and Douglas Clifton Morton; and his siblings, Samuel, Betty, Clara and Linda.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Morton of Portage; his daughters, Patricia Stonehill and Deborah Gossett (Richard); and his sister Esther Henning. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews.
