Though Bernice may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bernice touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Norman; and her son Randy McClurg. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Landess (Mike), Kathy Heckaman (Lynn) and Kay Sodders (Brad). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home (208 N Commerce St, Portland, IN 47371). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
