She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ray and Letha Mae Heiby (Wells); her husband Wilbur "Dale" Ashman; and her grandson Brandon Grayson. She is survived by: her children, Rod Ashman (Julia) of Celina, Rhonda Grayson (Kevin) of Geneva and Renee Schlechty (Randy) of Portland, Six.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home (221 N S Meridian St, Portland, IN 47371). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials can be made to the Jay County Humane Society or Jay County Cancer Society.
