He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond McClung and Nellie McClung (Wiebusch); and his siblings, Steve, John McClung, Kathleen Bragg and Martha Gross.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Stauffer; his daughter Shannon Sadler of Indianapolis; and his siblings, Kit McClung (Dana) of Portland, Kevin McClung (Diane) of Portland, Barbara Glentzer (Mike) of Fort Wayne and Peggy Peterson (Mike) of Portland.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home (221 N S Meridian St, Portland, IN 47371). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials can be made to Jay County Historical Society, Jay County Humane Society or Portland Rockets Baseball.
