He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlie Cook and Lizzie Mae Cook (Bradshaw); his wife Janice Cooke; his children, Don Cooke II (Trinda), Michael Cooke (Stashia) and Renita Harris; his brother Glenn Cook (Paulette); and his daughter Christina Starr. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
