He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Beatrice (Anders) and Darwin Ansil "Buzz" Wagner; and his wife Sue Ann McKinley. He is survived by: his son Mitch (Valinda) of Louisville, KY; his granddaughter Madeleine Pinaire; his great grandchildren, Calvin and Clark Covert of Lake City, FL; and his granddaughter Isabel Wagner (Janice Starr) of Louisville, KY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a memorial donation in honor of Jack to the Midwest Pet Refuge located at 601 North Charles Street, Portland IN 47371.
