He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Garlinger and Frona Estella Garlinger (Ford); and his siblings, Norma Minnich, Ed Garlinger, Tom Garlinger and Don Garlinger.
He is survived by: his brothers, Robert Garlinger of Geneva and Joe Garlinger of Geneva. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
