He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Wright and Helen Wright (Snyder); and his sister Dorothy Miller. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Wright; his children, Holly Pryor (Shane), Andrew Wright (Rita) and Catherine Pinkerton (Rex); his brother-in-law Oscar Miller; and his grandchildren, Maggie, AJ (Hailey), Simon, Gabe, Jakob, Landyn and Lilly.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home (208 N Commerce St, Portland, IN 47371). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed towards Salamonia Volunteer Fire Department or Hemophilia of Indiana.
