She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Smith and Grace Smith; her husband Roger Bowen; her son Jeffrey; her son-in-law Lionel Smith; and her granddaughter Abigayle Bowen.
She is survived by: her sisters, Ruth Evelyn and Thelma Mae; her children, Roger, Pamela Burks (Jack), Kathy Stolz, Douglas Bowen (Jacquie), Mark Bowen and Todd Bowen; her grandchildren, Regina Evans (Ray), Elizabeth Stolz (James Swartout), Thomas Bowen, Laura Bowen, Ryley Bowen (Loran) and Jadyn Bowen; her great grandchildren, Leo Evans, Zachary Evans and Phoebe Bowen; Luetta.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Asbury United Methodist Church (204 E Arch St, Portland, IN 47371).
Although Luetta loved flowers, she requested that all memorials go to the Luetta Bowen Scholarship, c/o The Portland Foundation, 107 S. Meridian St., Portland, IN 47371.
