We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2024, at the age of 79, Mary E. Johnson of Portland, Indiana, born in Winchester, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary E. Johnson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her brother Melvin Butcher. She is survived by : her husband David Johnson; her children, Shawn Johnson of Portland, Cindy Bessesen (Tim) of Portland and Jackie Spice (David) of Berne; and her siblings, Elvin Butcher of Bryant and Annabelle Kunce of Defiance. She is also survived by Three grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home (221 N S Meridian St, Portland, IN 47371). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
