He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dunlavy and Clara Dunlavy (Hicks); and his son-in-law Doug Hammers. He is survived by: his wife Marada Murrell Dunlavy; his children, Tonya Dunlavy Hammers and James T. Dunlavy (Regina); his grandchildren, Jennifer Hammers Bjurstrom (Bobby), Abbigayle Dunlavy Smith (Kevin), Samuel Dunlavy and Adam Foster (Amber); and his great grandchildren, Taylor Bjustrom, Alexandra Bjustrom, Archie Foster and Hank Smith.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Williamson, Spencer and Penrod Funeral Homes - Portland Chapel (208 N Commerce St, Portland, IN 47371).
