He is survived by: his parents, Alan Don and Susan "Susie" Marie Bender (Schneider); his siblings, Zachary Bender (Rebecca), Emily Abbott (Eric), Lukas Bender (Debra) and Patrick Bender; and his nieces and nephews, Ellery, Easton, Emma, Molly, Levi, Anthony and Morgan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Werry Funeral Homes, Inc. (16 E Fletchall Ave, Poseyville, IN 47633). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Werry Funeral Home (16 E Fletchall Ave, Poseyville, IN 47633). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (10 N St Francis St, Poseyville, IN 47633). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at the St. Francis Cemetery (5901 IN-68, Poseyville, IN 47633).
