He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldo Reneer and Ruby Reneer (Harvey); and his siblings, Curt, William Reneer and Marada Willis.

He is survived by: his wife Sherry Reneer (Peterson) of Princeton; his children, Harold W. "Tank" Reneer (Stephanie) and Debby Reneer of Princeton; his stepdaughters, Denise Adams (John) of Mt. Carmel, IL, Angie Lockard of Mt. Carmel, IL, Rachel Robling of Princeton and April Meade (Clint) of Patoka; his grandchildren, Brooke Schafer (Kyle), Morgan Winschief (Branden) and Brogan Reneer; his great grandchildren, Luke, Decker Schafer and Remington Winschief; his stepgrandchildren, John Adams (Jennifer), Cori Stringfellow (Brandon), McGowen, Tyler, Zach Robling, Raven Lockard and Clayton Meade; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Emma, Grace, Addison, John III, River, Lawson, Wrenley Rose, Axel, Annabella, Aubrey McGowen, Brooklyn and Harlee Robling.
