She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Basil McDevitt and Mary Eva McDevitt (Randolph); her husband Lyle Glenn Fritz; her siblings, James McDevitt and Juanita Steinhoff; her stepsisters, Loretta Meadows, Maxine Marshall, Gloria Phillips and Joy Ott; her nephews, Stephen McDevitt, Gary Phillips and Bill Roberts; and her niece Marsha Phillips (McDevitt).
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Kifer (Ray) of Owensville and Patricia Dodge (Larry) of Patoka; her grandchildren, Rachelle Kifer (Darla Hinkel) of Princeton, Todd Hinkel of Princeton, Todd Kifer (Julie) of Princeton, Joshua Dodge of Springfield, IL, Sarah Blankenship (Dodge) of Rogersville, MO and Andrew Dodge (Bethany) of Rensselaer, IN; and her stepsisters, Nancy Strickland of Oakland City and Karen Hinkel (Bill) of Clinton, IN. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Colvin Funeral Home (425 N Main St, Princeton, IN 47670). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the Montgomery Cemetery (12289 E 200 S, Oakland City, IN 47660).
