She was predeceased by: her parents, Denver Lane and Athel Lane (Sullivan); her husband James Sherman; her great grandchild Lauren Hale; and her stepgrandson Kevin Leffler.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Leffler (Dale) of Oakland City, Dennis Sherman (Betty) of Hazleton and Byron Sherman (Shari) of Newburgh; her grandchildren, Dave, Chris Hale, Jason, Scott Sherman, Kim Perry, Tina Hutchinson, Mandi Schooler and Jacki Falkenstein; and her stepgrandchild Kim Barker. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren.
