She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Sabin and Neva Sabin (Hand); her daughter Pam Sabin; and her sisters, Jaqueline Boos and Juanita Eggleston.

She is survived by: her pets, Teddy, Buddy and Lady; her significant other James Hovda of Princeton, Indiana; her children, Suzanne Schleeter (Dan) of Two Harbors, Minnesota, Patricia Green (Randy) of Covington, Indiana, William Straw (Laura) of Piggott, Arkansas and Robert Straw (Claudia) of Princeton, Indiana.; and her sister Marjorie Sabin. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
