With sadness, we share the passing of Ivan Simmons Jr. of Princeton, Indiana. Ivan, born on January 7, 1950, passed away on September 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Heber Simmons, Sr. and Lunolia Augusta Simmons (Young); his son Jason Lee Simmons; and his siblings, Bertis Paul Hardiman, Stephen Simmons and Claudine Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Midori Simmons (Young); his daughters, Jalynn Simmons and Jeanna Evans (Tim); his stepchildren, Reece Collins (Sarah), Audrey Marshall (J. R.) and Olivia Pinkston (Brent); and his siblings, Iva Lou Harvey (Joseph), John Simmons, Alfreda Harrison (Jimmy), Joyce Sullivan (Kenneth Sr.), Fayola Green, Maria Simmons, Carl Simmons (Kimberly) and Rick Simmons (Bronda). He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Colvin Funeral Home (425 N Main St, Princeton, IN 47670). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Sand Hill Cemetery (4754 W 64, Princeton, IN 47670).
