He was predeceased by : his mother Louise Woods (Brock). He is survived by : his wife Susan Woods of Princeton; his children, Christi Bennett (Chad), Brad Woods (Mandy Downey) of Princeton and Craig Woods (Brittany) of Vincennes; his brother Jim Woods (Chris) of Bloomington; and his grandchildren, Abbi, Kimber Bennett, Lyric Johnson, Brooks Mathies and Cohen Woods. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hillside United Methodist Church or to the John and Susan Woods, N.G.S.C. Scholarship Fund.
