Kathryn James Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathryn James of Princeton, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Darrel Kuehling and Alice Marcella Kuehling (Kling). She is survived by: her husband Vernon "Pete" James; her daughters, Kimberly Marvel (Mark) of Princeton and Marcella Hutchings of Princeton; her grandchildren, Zackary Peter Marvel (Dylan Dick), Kathryn Eliza Marvel, James Pryce Hutchings, Alyssa Claire Hutchings (Mario Palacios), Timothy James Marvel, Ethan Bury, Jacob and Savannah Marvel; her children, Alison and Christian Robicheaux; and her grandchildren, Kenzi, Tucker Cooper and Olivia Marvel.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Short-Cunningham Funeral Home (527 N Mulberry St, Mt Carmel, IL 62863). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Highland Memorial Cemetery.
