She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Nixon; her son Matthew Nixon; her parents, Newton Thompson and Ermal Thompson; her sister Elaine Tucker; and her grandmother Mimi Green.
She is survived by: her children, Brad Nixon (Nora) and Emily Burris (Tim); her grandchildren, Zachary LaGrange (Sarah), Timothy LaGrange (Beth), Lacey Cincinelli (Chris), Logan Nixon (Kayce), Miranda Nixon and Will Nixon; her great grandchildren, Mina, Warren, Leo, Emmett, Margot, Evelyn, Ray and Daniel; and her sister Malinda Wirey (Rick).
