It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Travis Nolcox of Princeton, Indiana, who passed away on March 13, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Sheldon Lafon Nolcox; his wife Terry L. Nolcox (Houghtaling); his sister Colette Nolcox; and his uncles, Alfred Solomon and Waldo Nolcox.
He is survived by: his mother Vivian Maxine Nolcox (Lyles) of Springfield, OH; his children, Lyle Nolcox (Stacie Obert) of Hazleton and Shelley Lynn Taylor (Juan) of Columbus, OH; his grandchildren, Sean Manns, Blakelee and Mavrix Obert; his aunts, Zola Solomon and Wordie Nolcox; his nephew Aaron Nolcox (Kristen); his great-nephew Khai Nolcox; his great-niece Alanna Nolcox; and his close friend Shelly Shamsaie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wayman Chapel AME Church, North Gibson Education Foundation, and The North Gibson Athletic Department.
