He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Krietemeyer and Florence Krietemeyer (Wessel); his wife Suzanne; and his sisters, Wilma Woods and Norma Jean Kendall.

He is survived by: his children, Laurie Schnur (Dave), Mark Krietemeyer (Toni) and Jane Baughman (Dennis); and his grandchildren, Eric Schnur (Laura), Bart Schnur (Justine), Abby Dunlap (Ben), Mollie Williams (Kaleb), Lucie Barrett, Silvie Krietemeyer, Briana Lofton, Margaret Baughman, Max Baughman (Brenna) and Casey Baughman. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
