He is survived by: his wife Cindy Akers; his children, Amy Hunter (Frank), Weslie Akers (Nicole), Anastasia Dotson (Ben Riggle), Anthony Dotson (Carlee) and Michael Dotson; his grandchildren, Jeffrey McMillan (Megan), Sawyer Hunter (Cassidy), Lucas Akers, Liam Akers, Phobe Akers, Seth Akers, Conner Dotson, Isabella Dotson and Skylar Dotson; his great grandchildren, Jack McMillan, Eli McMillan, Oliver McMillan and Georgie Hunter; and his sisters, Sue Paris and Karen Thomas (Ken).
