He was predeceased by : his parents, Luther Bowen and Ruth Bowen (Williams); and his children, Anthony Bowen and Melissa Bowen. He is survived by : his daughters, Deborah Couts (Gregory) and Kimberle Hatcher. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
