Though Koren may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Koren touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David J. Walker and Frances Walker (Petroski); and her brother David John Walker. She is survived by: her husband Jay M. Pearson of Ramsey, Indiana; her son Matthew Tyler Pearson of Palmyra, Indiana; her sisters, Sandy Johnson of Beechwood and Sherry Barnes of Marengo, Indiana; and her grandchild Thielen Jay Pearson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (306 Spring St, Milltown, IN 47145). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
