She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Bryan Lanham and Viola Mae Bennett Lanham; her husband Marvin Dwayne Kost; her son-in-law Thomas "Tom" Koester; and her siblings, Elmo Lanham, Maxine Simmons, Kenneth Lanham, Don Lanham, Bob Lanham, Shirley Cecil, Brenda Lanham and C. B. Lanham.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Koester (Jason Wilson) and Jonathon Kost (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Kourtland Koester, Karrington Koester, Kensley Koester, Grayson Kost, Easton Kost and Harper Kost; and her sisters, Rita McCollough and Diana Hammond-McCollough (Mike).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home (201 N Oak St, Corydon, IN 47112). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
