He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Gordon and Aunita Gordon (Ford); his wife Barbara "Ramona" Smelser; and his sister Sharon Oates. He is survived by: his children, Lou Ann Zimmerman (Ron), Kay Haffner (Mike) and Melissa Lawson (Eddie); and his sister Sandy Loyd.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home (208 N Commerce St, Portland, IN 47371). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed towards Jay County Cancer Society.
