With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alan M. Fleming of Rensselaer, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2026 at the age of 84. As we bid Alan farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Alan is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Fleming and Gwendolyn Fleming (Kepner); his wife Diana Odle; his sons, Kevin Fleming and David Fleming; and his siblings, Larry and Gayla.
He is survived by: his sons, Brannon Odle (Connie) of Greenwood, IN, Jeffrey Alan Fleming of Rensselaer and Scott Fleming (Nadja Smith) of Zionsville, IN. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
