It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geneva Lucille Mathews of Rensselaer, Indiana, who passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eathel Hayward Adams and Elmer Adams; her sons, Steven Mathews and Mark Mathews; and her husband George Mathews.

She is survived by: her pet Hachi; her friends, Virginia and Phillip Leichty; her children, Carol McKiel, Laura Nolen, Glenn Mathews, Tom Mathews, Ann Mahan, Walter Mathews, Jennifer Mathews, Kenneth Starnes and Colleen Mathews; her half-sisters, Karen and Glenn Ellen; George "Ted" Mathews. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
