She was predeceased by: her parents, Byrom Phegley and Lillian Phegley (Lynch); her son Jeff McEwan; and her brothers, Byrom "BJ" Phegley and Jack Phegley.

She is survived by: her daughter Lori Fellmy (Don) of Rensselaer; her grandchildren, Alisha Stephen (Derek) of Lafayette, IN, Jennifer Burton (Luke Zehrung) of South Bend, IN, Kendra Prater (Eric) of Otterbein, IN, Shelby McElroy (McKinley) of Rensselaer, IN and Tori Myers (Chris) of Rensselaer, IN; and her brothers, Tom Phegley (Sandy) of Rensselaer and Gerald Phegley (Chris) of Rensselaer. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
