With sadness, we share the passing of Katherine N. DeWees of Rensselaer, Indiana. Katherine, born on April 29, 1926, passed away on July 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sheldon and Rose Sheldon (Villinski); her husband Donald DeWees Sr.; and her son Donald DeWees Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Patrick DeWees (Karen) of Rensselaer and Dennis DeWees (Elizabeth) of Anderson; her daughter-in-law Kim DeWees of Brook; and her grandchildren, Tod DeWees, Tracy Hoaks (Ron), Deana Rule (Troy), Kim Ringen (Scott), Ben DeWees (Alayna) and Sarah Wuethrich (Dustin). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
