It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine L. Hammersley (Rensselaer, Indiana), born in Watseka, Illinois, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Irvin Roberts and Virginia Roberts (Elson); her husband Vernon F. Hammersley; and her children, Leatha Kleis, Vernon "Butch" Hammersley and Idabelle Pipes.

She is survived by : her children, Terry Hammersley (Kathleen) of Weaubleau, MO and Patricia Gerbracht (James) of Dubois, IN.
