Larry Brooks Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Larry Brooks of Rensselaer, Indiana. Larry, born on July 5, 1932, passed away on July 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Brooks and Fannabelle Brooks (Nation); his former wife Marjorie Brooks; his son Scott Brooks; and his siblings, Dennis Brooks, Kenny Brooks and Kate Halsema.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Brooks (Hancock); his children, Michael Brooks (Janet) of Lafayette and Julie Westfall (David) of Westfield, Indiana; his grandchildren, Catrina Rinkenberger (Linc), Ryan Westfall (Tanya), Brant Westfall (Audrey), Bryce Westfall (Andrea), Carrie Eichholz, Christian Brooks, Stephanie Brooks, Allison Barbknecht (Brandon) and Anthony Brooks; his sisters, Lois Gilmore and Anita "Tweet" Moore; and his sisters-in-law, Frances Brooks and Eileen Phegley. He is also survived by thirty great-grandchildren; nineteen great-great-grandchildren.
