He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Smith and Martha; his wife Sharon Martin; his stepchildren, Jeremy Williamson (Hannah) of Rensselaer and Caressa Williamson of Monticello; his grandchildren, Blake (Hannah), Jared, Cadence, Sam, Logan and Gavin; his sisters, Janie Burkes (Buster) of Mississippi and Kellie Smith of South Carolina; and his nieces, Caroline Purdy (Jake), Reese Little (Rod) and Holly Burkes.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer (250 N McKinley Ave, Rensselaer, IN 47978).
