We bid farewell to Doris F Meece of Richland, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 12, 2025 at the age of 87. Doris touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Claude Wigginton and Virginia Helen Wigginton (Jackson); her husband Charles "Charlie" Meece; and her brother William Claude "Sonny" Wigginton Jr. (Maxine). She is survived by: her children, David Allen Meece (Marie), Sidney Darrin Meece (Dottie), Sarah Deniece Mullican (Patrick) and Rebekah Ann Wittman; her grandchildren, Trent Jones (Becky), Jessica Clark (Randall), Sidney Darrin Meece Jr. (Aly), DaKota Meece, Cheyenne Meece, Kamren Mullican, Isaac Wittman, Reya Mullican and Rachel Wittman; and her brother Jesse X. Wigginton (Glenda). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home (527 Main St, Rockport, IN 47635). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
