She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles R. Barkman and Esther Mehling Barkman; and her sisters, Lydia Barkman, Meriam Alexander and Ruth Buck.

She is survived by : her nieces and nephews, Judy Taylor of Rochester, Sven Barkman of Deedsville, Charles V. Alexander of Mishawaka and Darlene Vale (Bill) of Fl; and her close friends, Connie and Mickey Baker.
