It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Addie Malone (Richmond, Indiana), born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burton Anderson and Augusta Bell Anderson; and her former husband Charles "Pete" Malone. She is survived by: her husband Marshall Alston; her friend Charles "Pete" Malone; her son Charles Jr.; her sisters-in-law, Lois Anderson (Tennessee) and Mattie Walker (North Carolina); her niece Juanita Davis of Detroit, Mi; and her siblings, Mary Bell Reid, Maggie Pleasant, Evelyn Wade, Annetta Watkins, Sally Mai Hicks, Thomas H. "Sonny" Anderson, William, Walter and Burton Anderson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
