She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Benson and Lois Jean Benson; her grandparents, Alex and Mary Warren; her aunts, Betty Smith-Henson and Portia Warren; her cousins, Rachel Dew and Derrick George; Gates.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Lester (Liz), Zachary Lester and Savannah Haager (Zach); her grandchildren, Riley, Braxton, Wyatt and Lilly; and her brother David Benson. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, brother, nephews, niece, a wide circle of dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church (480 W Eaton Pike, Richmond, IN 47374). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
