He was predeceased by: his parents, William Basford and Artie Basford (Nealis); and his wife Rosemary Staley Basford. He is survived by: his children, Vicki Basford, Vada Pugh, Carl Basford and Artina Basford; and his grandchildren, Robert Martin, Jeremy Basford, Dustin Smith, Claudia Serna and Cody Basford. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
