As Cornelia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Cornelia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Cornelia leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dante Lehew and Natalia Quick Conner; her husband John Eugene Merrill; and her daughter Judith ThornburgThere. She is survived by: her son John E. Merrill Jr.; her son-in-law Edward Thornburg; her grandchildren, Jennifer Thornburg, Alejandro Rau and Aidan Manning; and her great grandchildren, Samuel and Abigail Duvall.
