He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Dillman and Mildred J. Chessman Dillman; his wife Anne Marie Dillman; his siblings, Sheila O'Dell, Gerry Risor and Jim Dillman; and his siblings-in-law, Joy Dillman, Jack Miles and Lloyd O'Dell.

He is survived by: his daughters, Beth Anne Jackson (Jason) and Krista Dillman Coffey (Jeff); his granddaughters, Hannah and Katlynn Jackson; his siblings, Doris Fickler, Patricia Miles, George Dillman, John Dillman (Jody), Judy Kobes (Larry) and Rick Dillman (Mary); and his sister-in-law Barbara Dillman. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First Friends Meeting (2010 Chester Blvd, Richmond, IN 47374). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Wayne County Veteran's Memorial Park (7 E Main St, Richmond, IN 47374).
